NLA updates members on issues of common interest including regulatory and legislative developments. NLA provides a forum to enhance and encourage the exchange of ideas and technical information common to the industry and to promote the use of lime and business interests of the lime industry. NLA is comprised of U.S. and Canadian commercial lime companies, suppliers to lime companies, and foreign lime companies and trade associations. NLA’s members produce more than 98% of commercial lime, and more than 90% of all lime made from limestone in the U.S., and produce 100% of commercial lime in Canada. NLA does not represent the interests of captive lime manufacturers.
